The Offshore Subsea Controls Hydraulic Technician will be responsible for reading, understanding, and interpreting schematics, P&IDs, sketches, and written instructions to assemble parts or products, as well as operate equipment. This role involves the assembly, testing, and operation of various subsea production control systems, drilling control HPUs, IWOCS, LARS Operations, Test HPU’s, Chemical Injection Units, and subsea distribution hardware according to company, customer, and industry specifications. Safety is a top priority, and the technician will participate in safety and quality observation programs, ensuring adherence to quality processes and procedures. The role also includes performing maintenance and operations of rental equipment both onshore and offshore, conducting fluid analysis, troubleshooting problems, identifying design discrepancies, and suggesting improvements. Documentation, including daily progress reports, service tickets, test reports, failed test reports, and Non-Conformance Reports, must be completed accurately. The technician will liaise with clients during operations and testing, and prepare test procedures and operations/maintenance manuals. Domestic and international travel is required, and a valid passport is necessary.
