About The Position

The Inventory Specialist analyzes and improves inventory processes, ensures inventory accuracy, and coordinates supply orders to meet offshore demands in the GoM region.

Requirements

• Knowledge of inventory management, data maintenance, materials management, and warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data manipulation skills.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate inventory analysis and continuous improvement sessions to identify and deliver solutions that remove impediments to flow and achieve desired business outcomes.
• Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor key inventory characteristics and ensure accuracy for the GoM region.
• Identify parts and materials as necessary, and provide feedback to correct material master descriptions and other relevant data.
• Periodically analyze inventory levels and recommend adjustments to minimum and maximum reorder points to meet offshore demand.
• Coordinate with operations and purchasing to order new supplies and avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
