About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Safety Training Instructor with hands-on rigging and crane experience. The instructor will deliver offshore safety training and, when not working offshore, provide practical instruction to adult learners at our training center.
Requirements
- Hands-on rigging and crane experience.
- Ability to safely perform and demonstrate hands-on training activities, including climbing, lifting, carrying equipment, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in industrial and offshore environments.
- Capability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to meet applicable offshore safety requirements.
- Willingness and ability to travel offshore for extended assignments.
- Ability to work schedules that may involve nights, weekends, and rotational or extended shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver offshore safety training.
- Provide practical instruction to adult learners at our training center when not working offshore.
- Safely perform and demonstrate hands-on training activities, including climbing, lifting, carrying equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in industrial and offshore environments.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and meet applicable offshore safety requirements.
- Travel frequently to offshore facilities and other training locations.
- Travel offshore for extended assignments, including working schedules that may involve nights, weekends, and rotational or extended shifts.
