About The Position

The Office Volunteer Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling volunteers to ensure adequate coverage for office shifts, tasks and special projects. This role involves communicating with volunteers, managing schedules, and maintaining accurate records to support the smooth operation of office functions.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and Coordinate Volunteers: Maintain and update the volunteer schedule to ensure adequate office coverage.
  • Communication: Contact volunteers via email, phone, or online platforms to confirm availability and shifts.
  • Database Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of volunteer availability, assignments, and hours worked.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and fill scheduling gaps, find backup volunteers when needed, and communicate any changes to relevant staff.
  • Orientation and Support: Assist in welcoming and orienting new volunteers, providing them with scheduling details and office procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with core team to understand scheduling needs and priorities.
  • Reporting: Assist in generating reports on volunteer participation, hours logged, and scheduling trends as needed.
