About The Position
A fast-growing Building Automation Systems (BAS) division within a long-established mechanical and technology solutions firm is seeking an experienced Tridium Programmer in San Jose, CA. This position is primarily office-based with roughly 10–15% site visits, ideal for someone who prefers a development-focused role while staying connected to real-world project execution.
Requirements
- Tridium Niagara (N4, AX, R2)
- BACnet, Modbus, and LON integrations
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and optimize applications within Tridium Niagara (N4/AX/R2)
- Integrate major BAS communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LON
- Assist in designing control system diagrams, network layouts, and panel details
- Create DDC logic, custom graphics, alarm strategies, and trend configurations
- Review submittments, update design packages, and prepare RFIs as needed
- Collaborate with PMs, subcontractors, and equipment vendors throughout the project lifecycle
- Support high-customization programming efforts with a strong emphasis on quality control
