Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in word processing and general office procedures and practices or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Above average knowledge of public and private behavioral health billing and standards
  • Minimum of one year of staff supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Must have a demonstrated history of project implementation, follow thru, and adherence
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Work an eight hour shift five days a week and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Overtime may be required.
  • Provide all support services for facility Administrator/Director.
  • Ensure that all financial aspects of the campus are in compliance and that required benefits verification, authorizations, and co-pay collections are occurring without incident.
  • Maintain inventory and order all office, copier and computer supplies.
  • Supervise the Medical Records staff, Patient Accounts Representatives Receptionists, and Evening Receptionists, including orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required.
  • Consult with Administrator to develop policies, goals, objectives and procedures for the Clerical Department.
  • Serve as a member of the Administrative Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  • Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  • Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  • Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
