About The Position

Great Basin College is seeking a part-time employee to provide front office and testing support at the Winnemucca Center. This role involves proctoring exams, providing customer service, assisting students with basic computer usage, answering phones, greeting visitors, accepting forms, scheduling appointments, directing individuals to appropriate departments, assisting with daily office operations, and operating general office equipment. The position also aims to provide encouragement and positive support to students.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and general office equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Proctor exams while maintaining the security and confidentiality of all testing materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
  • Assist students with basic computer usage and navigation.
  • Answer phones and greet visitors.
  • Accept forms and other documents.
  • Schedule advising appointments.
  • Direct students and visitors to the appropriate college departments and resources.
  • Assist front office staff with daily operations.
  • Operate general office equipment, including computers, printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Provide encouragement and positive support to students.
