About The Position

This position serves as a support role for the laboratory, ensuring the efficient and accurate running of a fast-paced laboratory. The role involves greeting clients, vendors, and visitors, answering general questions, and processing daily mail and small shipments of bottle kits. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong computer, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude
Handle moderate stress in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented- Data Entry
Ability to prioritize
Customer Service
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Nice To Haves

Further education in biological or chemical science preferred
Experience in a fast pace work environment
Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred.
TALS experience a plus
Science based background preferred

Responsibilities

Regular attendance and punctuality
Collect samples from on-site drop box
Unpack shipments and document receipt of sample
Organize and record samples
Data entry into LIMS (TALS experience a PLUS)
Maintenance of the department and lab, including stocking supplies and housekeeping
Assist with customer services
Handle interactions with walk-in clients
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Process daily mail and small shipments of bottle kits.
Provide great customer Service to walk in clients.
Perform other duties as assigned
