About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a full-time Office Specialist for Baptist Primary Care at Baptist Bartram Park in Jacksonville, Florida. The position provides business services for patients and the healthcare system, including posting charges and payments and following telephone protocols. The role is suited to a people-oriented, self-motivated, task-focused team player who can multitask and thrive in a busy, professional setting. The position is onsite at Bartram Park MOB, 13720 Old St Augustine Road, Jacksonville, FL 32258. It is a day-shift role scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. An up-to-$1,000 sign-on bonus is available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- People-oriented and adept at multitasking.
- Focused, task-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Able to thrive in a busy atmosphere and work as an energetic team player in a professional setting.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of front desk experience preferred.
- Experience working in a medical office preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide business services for patients and the healthcare system.
- Post charges and payments.
- Follow telephone protocols.
- Register patients.
- Check patients in and out.
- Scan documents.
- Assist patients as needed.
