Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer‑focused Mail Services Associate who can support multiple client sites and ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves handling all incoming and outgoing mail, delivering materials across departments and locations, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail‑oriented, and able to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Area of coverage: Reston, VA - McLean, VA and DC area.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation for travel to multiple client sites
  • 1–3 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to operate mail carts, hand carts, and flatbeds
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of Mail/Print Services or Office Services experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Travel to various client sites as needed
  • Receive, sort, process, and deliver all incoming mail and packages
  • Pick up, transport, and deliver materials within and between departments (including VA and DC locations)
  • Deliver office supplies and support internal building deliveries
  • Maintain records, logs, and files; collect data for reporting
  • Ensure the Customer Service area is staffed and provide coverage as needed
  • Apply knowledge of postal regulations and basic computer skills
  • Resolve issues and support customers, including occasional difficult interactions
  • Maintain equipment and ensure proper operation
  • Communicate with client contacts and keep management informed of operational needs
  • Prioritize tasks, adapt to changing demands, and demonstrate leadership
  • Work overtime when required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
