About The Position

This position provides overall supportive services for the operation of the Directors Office and requires the performance of a variety of complex clerical and administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • One year performing secretarial or clerical work involving typing duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately type on a keyboard of a personal computer at a minimum of forty words per minute may be required, depending on the specific requirements of the position.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience managing a business calendar and/or scheduling.
  • One year of experience in customer service responding to customer inquiries.
  • Six months of experience in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver administrative assistance to the Director and Directors Assistant.
  • Provide quality customer service to all customers (internal and external) when interacting in person, by telephone or in writing according to established guidelines that meets or exceeds the standards set by the Department.
  • Assisting with Agency Inbox.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining business calendars to include those of the Director, their Assistant, and other executive staff.
  • Handles confidential information in general duties.
  • Manage responsibilities related to state vehicles, including coordinating and maintaining daily and monthly vehicle sign-up schedules.
