About The Position

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Office Receptionist for the DCFS Cook County Juvenile Court Unit. Requirements

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school
  • Requires 1 year of related office experience
  • Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 35 wpm
  • Requires the ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

  • Serves as Office Receptionist for the DCFS Cook County Juvenile Court Unit
  • Keyboards documents, forms, memoranda, and letters and proofs use of terms and accuracy of information
  • Greets visitors and directs walk-ins to appropriate offices and resources
  • Orders and distributes forms from Central Stores
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerate above
