The Office Operations & Culture Manager (OOCM) serves as the heartbeat of our office. This role is highly multi-faceted, combining traditional office administration with intern program management, company culture development, and marketing support. The OOCM ensures the team and office environment remain organized, professional, and buzzing with energy so the organization can focus on rapid growth. The OOCM position is designed for a versatile professional who thrives on variety and direct responsibility. This role provides hands-on exposure to every department in the company, from sales and marketing to marketplace operations and human resources.

Responsibilities

  • Directing office culture initiatives, such as monthly events, employee spotlights, and community engagement with local partners like the food bank, Diaper Bank and WILMA.
  • Providing high-level administrative support, including managing office facilities, IT coordination, and supplier communications via the support inbox.
  • Managing the intern program, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding based on the UNCW school schedule.
  • Assist with talent acquisition by screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and conducting preliminary interviews.
  • Coordinating logistics for the Sales team, including trade show booth furnishings, travel arrangements, and lead retrieval setup.
  • Supporting Marketing efforts through social media content creation and maintaining the company’s "swag" inventory.
  • Overseeing Marketplace Operations by tracking rental dates, following up on equipment returns, and verifying security deposits.
  • Maintaining a welcoming office environment, from managing the tidiness of the kitchen, keeping up with inventory of office and coffee supplies, to ordering the weekly office keg.
