This fellowship provides an opportunity to research business and technology questions identified by the CIO, gather information from appropriate sources, assess the quality and limitations of available evidence, and prepare structured background materials. The fellow will structure ambiguous questions into answerable components and synthesize findings into concise, executive-ready briefs. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining inventories of applications, vendors, contracts, and costs; analyzing technology consolidation and rationalization; researching acquired-entity systems for M&A activities; preparing meeting agendas and documenting decisions; completing analytical projects; reconciling and synthesizing information; preparing and presenting analyses; performing spreadsheet analysis and data organization; and maintaining research materials. The role requires strict adherence to confidentiality and security requirements when handling sensitive information. Marginal functions include participating in developmental discussions, observing leadership meetings, maintaining a portfolio of completed assignments, and assisting with administrative activities. This position does not include supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
