About The Position

RN needed in College Park, Georgia. Hours are flexible based on your scheduling needs. This role involves providing supervision of clinical staff working with high medical acuity clients and/or clients receiving support services. The RN will serve as the clinical expert, perform staff orientation, and ensure the competence of field staff. Responsibilities include ensuring services are delivered according to licensing guidelines, professional medical standards, and agency policies. The position also involves planning, developing, and managing clinical programs, services, activities, and employees, assisting with agency growth in home care, and contributing to operational and financial management. The RN will investigate client complaints, participate in recruiting and hiring clinical staff, identify training needs, and regularly evaluate programs and services for improvement. Conducting client home visits for quality assurance and supervising all clinical staff, including performing annual employee evaluations, are key duties. Other duties as required by the administrator may also be assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited program; prefer licensed or certified professionals but willing to consider others with adequate experience.
  • Must have a good standing license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
  • Must have at least 12 months of hands-on nursing experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must be willing to provide in-home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Very comfortable and efficient in the use of EMRs and use of computers.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Assist with the oversight of the agency’s growth related to home care.
  • Serve as the clinical expert and assist with the operational and financial management of the agency.
  • Investigate and take appropriate actions on client/consumer complaints.
  • Participate in the recruiting, hiring, and identifying the training needs of clinical staff.
  • Evaluate programs and services regularly to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct regular client home visits to ensure quality of care and perform home visits as needed.
  • Supervise all clinical staff and perform annual employee evaluations for all clinical staff.
  • Perform other duties as required by administrator.
