About The Position

Join Our Team as a Full Time Office Manager for our Suffolk TASC program! Are you passionate about supporting the justice involved population, and making a real difference in their lives? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 120 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Office Manager for our Suffolk TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities) program. Wage: $23 per hour Schedule: 9AM-5PM, Monday- Friday Location: Onsite Suffolk TASC Office - 320 Carleton Ave in Central Islip, NY Primary Purpose of Job: The Office Manager is responsible for providing administrative support to LI TASC program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or educational equivalent required.
  • Minimum of five years of prior office experience required.
  • General office, typing and computer skills (Microsoft Office/Data Entry) skills required.
  • Proficiency in database management required.
  • Must have a pleasant phone manner and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Some social services or criminal justice agency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Supervision in coordinating daily operations of the program office including follow-up of necessary paperwork.
  • Supervise and train clerical staff of LI TASC program.
  • Answer, screen and direct phone calls, and perform receptionist function.
  • Perform typing and general office duties.
  • Act as liaison between the program, Director and EAC NETWORK Administration.
  • Order and maintain an inventory of office supplies.
  • Oversee the collection and input of data into the program's database.
  • Maintain and oversee the collection of all fees and petty cash for deposit into agencies designated bank account.
  • Maintain office equipment inventory.
  • Order and maintain records of all office needs and expenditures.
  • Conduct phone screen with clients to determine eligibility for services and schedule assessment appointments for assigned Case Manager.
  • Coordinate court schedules with staff.
  • Assist in performing observations of toxicology testing where needed.
  • Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC Administration.
