About The Position

The Office Manager, Workplace Services is the trusted on-site leader responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day management of workplace operations in a dynamic corporate office. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, this role ensures a consistent, high-quality experience for employees and visitors through operational excellence, hospitality-driven service, financial stewardship, relationship management, and proactive problem-solving. The Office Manager maintains a visible presence in the office Monday through Friday and balances strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive office management or workplace services experience in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, invoices, expenses, vendor contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Proven experience planning and executing corporate events, meetings, initiatives, and large-scale gatherings.
  • Strong leadership skills, including experience guiding, coordinating, and supporting team members and front desk operations.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and comfort using workplace management, service, financial, access management, and reporting systems.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the executive presence to build trust and credibility with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with accuracy, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • A customer-focused, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach with a commitment to hospitality, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Workplace Services operations, including reception, front desk service, facilities coordination, and office services, to provide a seamless and professional experience for employees and visitors.
  • Serve as the primary on-site leader Monday through Friday, supporting team members and maintaining consistent service standards across the office.
  • Champion a service-first, hospitality-driven culture and act as an approachable ambassador for Workplace Services, employee engagement, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal teams, leadership, building management, service providers, and other vendors to resolve issues and maintain high-quality service delivery.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute office events, meetings, and large-scale gatherings in partnership with cross-functional teams and in alignment with company standards.
  • Own the Workplace Services budget, including monthly tracking, forecasting, annual planning, financial analysis, and recommendations to optimize spending and resource allocation.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, invoices, and expenses to support accuracy, accountability, cost efficiency, and effective vendor performance.
  • Lead office-related projects from planning through execution, managing priorities, timelines, objectives, space planning, workstation allocation, and office logistics.
  • Use workplace service platforms, financial systems, access management tools, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and service delivery.
  • Operate with integrity, discretion, ownership, and accountability while proactively solving problems and delivering reliable results in a fast-paced environment.
