About The Position

Temple University's Fox School of Business is searching for an Office Manager in the Office of Graduate and International Programs and Graduate Admissions! The Office Manager provides advanced administrative coordination and operational support for the Office of Graduate and International Programs and Graduate Admissions. The position ensures efficient day-to-day office functioning by coordinating processes, managing transactions, supporting recruitment and student engagement activities, maintaining records, and serving as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and external partners. The role organizes workflow, facilitates communication, and supports departmental operations while overseeing student workers and maintaining consistent service delivery. This position is fully on-site at Temple’s Main Campus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least one (1) year of applicable experience handling administrative/office management functions, supervising staff/student workers, working with databases, generating reports for management
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web based administrative systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations
  • Demonstrated problem solving and time management abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a university setting or other complex customer focused environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business
  • Experience with Temple software applications: Banner, Budget, Cognos, Concur, TUMarketplace, Kronos
  • Experience in admissions recruitment and/or student services in an education or business setting
  • Understanding of MBA/MS programs and experience working with this student population
