About The Position

Novig is seeking an Office Manager to keep the New York office running smoothly. This role involves ensuring the office space is clean, stocked, and prepared for all activities, from daily operations to large meetings. The Office Manager will be responsible for anticipating needs, managing dependencies, and adapting to shifting priorities. A key part of the role includes providing direct support to the Founder, including coordinating travel, reservations, and expenses with accuracy and discretion. This is a hands-on position with significant ownership, requiring proactive problem-solving and seamless collaboration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years running an office or supporting a senior leader, ideally in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Proactive, highly organized, and adaptable.
  • Strong judgment and prioritization skills.
  • Clear and thoughtful communication skills, including writing with precision and following up consistently.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stay composed when priorities shift mid-day.
  • Ability to build trust and work seamlessly with peers and cross-functional partners.
  • Good timing and people reading skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and absolute discretion when handling sensitive information and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the New York office clean, stocked, and presentable.
  • Stock snacks and drinks, and stay ahead of what's running low.
  • Welcome visitors and ensure every guest has what they need.
  • Set up all-hands and on-site meetings that start on time and run without a hitch.
  • Anticipate needs and manage dependencies so the day stays seamless and on track.
  • Coordinate the Founder & CEO's personal reservations and travel with accuracy and discretion.
  • Coordinate executive work travel and oversee expense reporting with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Exercise sound judgment and absolute discretion when handling sensitive information and communications.
  • Take ownership proactively, stepping in wherever it keeps momentum going.
