About The Position

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily office operations, including customer service, employee supervision, and administrative tasks. This role involves ensuring adherence to quality standards, training staff, and managing performance. The position also requires maintaining a clean and organized work environment, complying with safety regulations, and utilizing MS Office for reporting.

Requirements

  • Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
  • Must pass a background check and credit check.
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively.
  • Ability to understand direction (written or oral).
  • Ability to use basic math skills as the job demands.
  • Utilize MS Office to produce reports in various combinations to all readers and audiences.
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience in a similar or business program environment required.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred – high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable.
  • Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer complaints and answer customer questions regarding policies and procedures.
  • Supervise office, administrative, or customer service employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.
  • Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems and resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
  • Implement corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Discuss job performance problems with employees to identify causes and work on resolving problems.
  • Train and instruct employees in job duties and company policies.
  • Evaluate employees' job performance and conformance to regulations, and recommend appropriate personnel action.
  • Review records and reports pertaining to activities such as production, payroll, and shipping to verify details, monitor work activities, and evaluate performance.
  • Recruit, interview, and select employees.
  • Clean up work area at the end of shift.
  • Keep work areas neat and orderly.
  • Organize materials for effective use of space.
  • Dispose of various waste materials in the appropriate manner.
  • Inspect to ensure cleanup is completed.
  • Maintain effective housekeeping in the workplace area for safety and hygienic conditions.
