  • Fast learner with real curiosity, comfortable learning new skills and knowing when to bring in expert help.
  • Hands-on with vendors and negotiation, or the confidence and judgment to become so quickly.
  • Highly organized, with a track record of running many parallel workstreams to completion without being chased.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment; ability to build processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Service mindset toward the team.
  • Warm, calm under pressure, and able to set a positive tone for the office.

Responsibilities

  • Run the New York office end to end, including landlord/workspace provider relations, access and security, health and safety, cleaning and facilities vendors, supplies, and day-to-day space operations.
  • Own the office cadence, including lunches, all-hands setup, team dinners, and offsites.
  • Partner with the Field Marketing team to ensure customer and community events hosted at the office run smoothly.
  • Manage new joiner onboarding, including equipment, access, desks, local paperwork, and welcome.
  • Handle offboarding processes cleanly.
  • Host visiting executives, customers, and candidates, ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Select and manage local vendors (workspace provider, IT, AV, catering, cleaning, security, insurance).
  • Own the office budget, invoices, and renewals.
