About The Position

The Office Manager is responsible for supporting the Bentonville, AR office and will handle a wide variety of situations and conflicts involving the clerical and administrative function of the office. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including emails, letters and reports. Provides support to the entire Bentonville office while reporting to the Director of Sales, Walmart team.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Retail Link and SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Associate's Degree plus minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in managing an office setting is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Walmart/Sam’s Club Executive or Merchandising assistant is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence, reviewing, and approving supply requisitions; monitoring mailroom functions.
  • Sales office organization such as up to date telephone lists, ensuring photocopiers fax and printers have adequate toner cartridges.
  • Responsible for inter-departmental areas such as reception, kitchen/breakroom, conference rooms, common areas and other administration support.
  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
  • Responsible for preparing and procuring sales samples/donations coordinate for delivery, if required.
  • Process courier shipments daily, maintaining account records.
  • Order office supplies as required.
  • Maintains contracts with facility; office cleaning, vending/coffee machines/copiers/printers and facility maintenance.
  • To provide all employees with the proper tools, and accommodations to do their work.
  • Approve and code invoices for payment.
  • Make travel and guest arrangements.
  • Working in a professional environment
  • Managing projects and conducting research
  • Maintain POS Reports and sales team reporting.
