About The Position

The Office Manager/ HR Administrator is responsible for overseeing daily office operations while supporting key human resources and talent management functions. This role ensures efficient administrative processes, accurate recordkeeping, compliance with HR policies, and effective coordination across departments to support organizational success. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and employee recordkeeping practices
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism in sensitive situations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work on-site at our office/manufacturing facility
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and external agencies

Responsibilities

  • Execute and communicate all incoming deposits
  • Conduct new customer credit checks
  • Issue all localized accounts payable (A/P) checks
  • Administer consignment tracking and invoice audits
  • Manage petty cash
  • Audit monthly credit card statements
  • Review and distribute incoming mail
  • Perform administrative support tasks for department leaders as needed
  • Supervise receptionist, including scheduling, task management, and performance oversight
  • Coordinate and manage office cleaning services to ensure facility standards are maintained
  • Manage and maintain digitized employee personnel files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate FMLA administration with third-party providers
  • Handle workers' compensation administration with carriers and/or third-party administrators
  • File and manage accident and incident reports
  • Coordinate with unemployment agencies and government offices regarding personnel matters
  • Oversee employee welfare program inventory and administration
  • Lead administration of pay status changes for hourly employees
  • Maintain manufacturing employee departmental depth charts
  • Track and manage employee attendance records
  • Coordinate employee onboarding processes and administrative orientation activities
  • Assist with employee evaluations and performance documentation
  • Coordinate weekly with Operations and Production Managers regarding recruiting and staffing needs
  • Collaborate with Operations and Training Managers on onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives
