About The Position

finoBlue Planning Group is a growing wealth management firm in Atlanta advising on approximately $380 million in assets for clients who trust us with their financial futures. Our team is small, our standards are high, and our culture is built on doing right by the people we serve. We're looking for an Office Manager who can take ownership of the business side of the practice so our advisors can focus on what they do best: taking care of clients. This is not an admin role. This is the person who keeps the entire operation running. You'll manage HR, payroll, compliance coordination, vendor relationships, and the day-to-day flow of a professional office. You'll supervise a small team, own the employee handbook, coordinate performance reviews, and work directly with the principal advisor on business planning and strategy. If you're the kind of person who sees a broken process and fixes it before anyone asks, you'll thrive here.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing an office, a team, or business operations in a professional services environment.
  • Hands-on experience with HR functions: hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping anything important.
  • Clear communication skills in writing and in person.
  • Comfortable with technology and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or a broker-dealer environment.
  • Familiarity with Raymond James systems or similar BD platforms.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • A bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR for a team of 5-6 people, including onboarding, employee files, benefits coordination, payroll, PTO tracking, and performance reviews.
  • Evaluate current benefits package and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise daily operations, including team scheduling, workflow coordination, office supply management, and vendor coordination.
  • Handle compliance coordination with broker-dealer (Raymond James) on branch compliance, audit preparation, CE tracking, and gift log management.
  • Ensure marketing materials are submitted for approval and team stays current on licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Support business planning by coordinating the annual business plan, tracking progress against goals, maintaining the marketing and event calendar.
  • Act as a people leader by conducting team meetings, supporting professional development, managing conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive culture.

Benefits

  • Salary: $90,000 to $105,000 depending on experience
  • Quarterly performance bonus
  • Medical (50% employer-paid for employee coverage)
  • Employer-paid group life insurance
  • Employer-paid long-term disability insurance
  • Safe Harbor 401(k) with match
  • PTO starting at 10 days (increasing with tenure)
  • Professional, collaborative office environment
