About The Position

We are partnering with a well-established, locally owned construction services business in Southern Utah to identify a reliable, highly organized Office Manager / Bookkeeper. This is a key, hands-on role supporting daily operations for a growing flooring and demolition operation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. Discretion and professionalism are critical, as this is a confidential search.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in office management and/or bookkeeping
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Highly organized, dependable, and consistent
  • Comfortable working fully on-site in St. George
  • Tech-savvy with Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Drive)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, flooring, or trade-based businesses
  • Familiarity with job costing or project-based workflows
  • Exposure to flooring estimation software (e.g., MeasureSquare)

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Maintain organized financial and job documentation
  • Support invoicing, payments, and basic reporting
  • Oversee job files and documentation from start to finish
  • Coordinate job workflows, inspections, and schedules
  • Order materials and track product needs
  • Maintain organized digital records using Google Drive and Sheets
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers
  • Assist customers with product selection (non-sales focused)
  • Follow up on jobs, schedules, and outstanding items
  • Communicate clearly with field teams, vendors, and ownership
  • Manage schedules for estimators and field employees
  • Assist ownership with coordinating demolition team logistics
  • Provide light supervision for one administrative team member
