Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent
Prior administrative or office coordination experience
Five years' experience in an outpatient or hospital setting is preferred. Experience working with interdisciplinary team with an emphasis on rehabilitation services.
Case management skills and/or certification in case management preferred.
Proficient in computer and word processing skills. Knowledge in practice billing, coding and reimbursement criteria for Rehabilitation Services.

Responsibilities

Manages therapy scheduling and registration, including gathering patient information, selecting appropriate clinicians, verifying insurance, and collecting copays.
Handles reception duties such as greeting patients, managing calls, scheduling/rescheduling, directing visitors, and performing general office/secretarial tasks.
Completes case‑management functions including obtaining authorizations, managing medical/legal information requests, processing evaluations, and supporting quality improvement activities.
Supports departmental operations by coordinating meetings, referrals, and communications; using office software effectively; assisting new staff; and performing additional assigned duties.
