The role also involves patient check-in, scheduling appointments, daily charge posting, balancing receipts, verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and managing patient charts in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Additionally, the Office Coordinator is responsible for training new and existing employees and fostering effective working relationships with staff, physicians, and patients.
