About The Position

We're a growing service company seeking a highly organized, dependable, and people-focused Office Coordinator to join our team. This is a fast-paced role focused on employee scheduling, staffing coordination, attendance tracking, and daily workforce support. You'll play a key role in helping keep operations running smoothly by ensuring shifts are properly staffed, employees are supported, and staffing challenges are addressed quickly and effectively. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, staying organized, and managing multiple priorities throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)

  • 3+ years of office coordination, scheduling, staffing, administrative, customer service, or related experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
  • Strong computer and communication skills
  • Ability to commute to Brooklyn, NY 11206 (required)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily staffing needs and ensure shifts are properly covered
  • Manage employee callouts, schedule changes, and attendance issues
  • Arrange replacements quickly when coverage is needed
  • Communicate with employees regarding schedules, availability, and work assignments
  • Track staffing levels and help maintain an active pipeline of available workers
  • Support onboarding and new-hire setup
  • Maintain accurate employee records and updates in company systems
  • Respond to employee questions in a professional and timely manner
  • Work closely with management to resolve staffing challenges and urgent issues
  • Track attendance and scheduling compliance
  • Escalate sensitive or complex situations when appropriate
  • Assist with general office coordination and administrative support as needed
