About The Position

As a clerical employee, you’ll work quick, safely, and efficiently to accurately process multiple tasks within the distribution center to ensure our customers are able to receive the merchandise ordered in a timely fashion. You’ll assist in processing paperwork, payroll, invoices, and reports for your respective area of responsibility. You’ll do this while working with partners in clerical, supervision, managers, and warehouse associates. You’ll also perform other clerical assignments as necessary within the office. The ability to work as a team member rather than an individual is imperative. You will work manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities, tasks, and work in collaboration with external partners and vendors to quickly resolve problems. It is expected you report to work on time and have exemplary attendance to complete job tasks assigned and on time to contribute to the overall distribution center results.

Requirements

  • Proficient data entry and typing skills are expected.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point knowledge.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, flexibility, and versatility
  • Business office experience preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Computer knowledge such as Microsoft office, teams, excel, word, power point, email, webinar platforms, etc.
  • Problem solving and Organization skills
  • Effective Oral and Written Communication, ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Data Entry and Typing Skills
  • Team oriented and ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented, work efficiently meeting multiple deadlines, identifying, and implementing solutions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong sense of urgency to meet established deadlines
  • Communicate verbally, and by email, Microsoft teams, and other communication platforms
  • Ability and flexibility to work alternate hours if necessary, including Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays.
  • Communication, organizational, transparency, authenticity, listening, & developing relationships

Responsibilities

  • Create, reconcile, data entry in spreadsheets, databases, shipments, etc.
  • Communicate workloads with vendors, drivers, customers, management, employees etc.
  • Prepare Bill of Ladings, Labels, Routing, SCI, Shipments, Packed not Billed, scheduling
  • Cross training and support clerical partners (shipping, order scheduling etc.)
  • Good reasoning, conflict management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Takes initiative to correct issues without direction, offer solutions to problems and support a team effort
  • Other miscellaneous job duties such as filing, phone calls, emails, printing etc.
