About The Position

The Office Clerk will be involved in both plant and office operations to ensure temporary and permanent employees are completing company required onboarding, training, and ongoing day-to-day operations. This role requires a blend of administrative tasks and direct interaction on the production floor.

Requirements

  • Bi-lingual Spanish is required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing office environment.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and with management.
  • Initiative to take on new responsibilities as necessary.
  • Consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Orientation of new employees temporary and permanent.
  • Manage temporary labor with local agencies.
  • Take care of phone messages.
  • Complete daily Absence Reports for all employees.
  • Complete on-boarding process for new employees.
  • Enter employees in the time clock.
  • Maintain records and files.
  • Update online spreadsheets and reports.
  • Help employees with training requirements.
  • Ensure documents, reports, spreadsheets are sent to appropriate personnel.
  • Work within the production floor as needed to direct employees.
