About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for scheduling inbound trucks, reconciling invoices and BOLs, invoicing customers, and assisting with completing driver delivery papers. This position may perform other office / administrative functions as needed. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of clerical accounting experience with at least 6 months of accounts receiving experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable and payable accounting techniques and methods preferred.
  • Oracle experience preferred.
  • Must have strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with reconciliation techniques, filing procedure, and file maintenance.
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity.
  • Has a strong work ethic.
  • Displays a great attitude and models teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling inbound lumber.
  • Reconciling returns and communicating with Material Manager.
  • Entering outside sales into Oracle.
  • Preparing invoices for outside sales and communicating with salesman about due dates.
  • Work hand in hand with all department leaders, Material Manager, salesmen, and customers in a professional manner to ensure efficient operation of facility.
  • Serve as back-up for receptionist during breaks and lunch.
  • Assist in completing driver’s paperwork as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
