About The Position
Specialized Wound Management is seeking a full-time experienced professional with a strong background in medical billing and coding and excellent interpersonal skills to perform our office billing. This is an in-office position. Delmar Gardens is a family-owned, St. Louis-based company that has been serving the community for 60 years. Our diverse and unique mission and philosophy of Love, Care, and Understanding extend not only to our dear residents but equally to our invaluable staff.
Requirements
- Experienced professional with a strong background in medical billing and coding
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Medical Billing and Coding certification preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Downloading, posting and balancing electronic remits from all insurance payers
- Posting manual payments received
- Review and work aging reports
- Transmit claims to all insurance companies
- Month end closing and all needed reports
