About The Position

Performs a variety of clerical and office duties in support of the Carnival Sales. This is a temporary seasonal position not to exceed 122 days.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Good computer skills and demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is necessary.
  • Effective communicator, fast learner, punctual, and service oriented.
  • Ability to successfully handle and prioritize multiple tasks required.
  • Excellent ability to work well under pressure and with others is a must.
  • Excellent teamwork and problem solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) may be helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Answers and responds to or forwards telephone calls.
  • Assists walk-in traffic to the office, including department employees, other organizational employees, business partners, guests and/or patrons.
  • Dispatch other department employees in response to inquiries and requests from other departments or the public.
  • Maintains a variety of department records and files in an organized manner and makes copies as necessary.
  • Performs computer data input and generates reports as requested.
  • Tracks attendance of department employees and serves as the department timekeeper.
  • Files and shreds documents as requested.
  • May schedule meetings and coordinate the department calendar.
  • May be required to perform other duties as directed, requested or assigned.
