About The Position

Under direct supervision, perform basic clerical duties including answering telephones, handling routine office inquiries, using word processing software, assisting with on-campus registration, operating office equipment, referring students to appropriate departments, filing correspondence and documents, typing correspondence, providing support to other areas as needed, and maintaining inventory of office supplies and ordering maintenance/repairs for office equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to alphabetize.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year experience in an office environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone, handling multiple lines.

  • Refer students to appropriate person or department.

  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, orders maintenance/repairs for office equipment.
