About The Position

IdeaTek is looking for a Part-Time Office Assistant to support our Wichita office. In this role, you’ll help maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming workspace for employees, visitors, and vendors. From managing supplies and coordinating office needs to supporting employee events and keeping shared spaces running efficiently, you’ll play an important role in the overall employee experience. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity based in our Wichita office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous administrative, receptionist, or office assistant experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds as needed for office supplies or deliveries
  • Availability to work Monday–Thursday from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, with occasional Friday support as needed

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Maintain guest logs and building access records as needed
  • Support office security by following safety procedures and monitoring visitor access
  • Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with building management
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages
  • Establish and maintain an organized system for Wichita office mail and distribution
  • Order, monitor, and maintain office and kitchen supplies
  • Help keep shared office spaces clean, stocked, and presentable
  • Coordinate catering and support logistics for meetings and events as needed
  • Manage vendor relationships related to office beverages and supplies
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, event planning, and after-hours events when needed
  • Provide general office and administrative support across teams
