The Educational Leadership and Policy department is seeking an energetic and dedicated student worker with excellent written and oral communication skills. The individual will work as a member of a team and be expected to multitask. This individual will perform a range of office support assignments while being exposed to new methods, processes, and procedures within ELP. The essential responsibilities for this position include: · Serve as first point of contact for ELP guests, students, faculty and staff · Use basic features in Microsoft Word, Adobe and Excel to create and edit general office documents as needed. · Answer telephone calls and greet internal and external customers. · Support ELP faculty and staff with routine tasks. · Assist faculty with opening classrooms and obtaining supplies for classroom use. · Direct students to appropriate service areas for assistance. · Distribute mail and other general office tasks. · Organize and update storage areas, and filing as directed. · Maintaining and organizing ELP storage and break room · Assisting with room scheduling · Maintaining office supplies · Supporting activities, events and special projects in ELP · Other duties, as assigned
