About The Position

The position of Office Administrator within the Service department in Edmonton, AB, Canada involves providing exceptional administrative and clerical support under direct supervision by the Service Operations Manager - Edmonton. The role also serves as a welcoming receptionist and coordinator of various office functions. This role also serves as the central point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception area. Additionally, the Office Administrator will coordinate various office functions to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently, high motivation with a high degree of self-initiative.

  • Excellent communications skills in English, both written and verbal as well as a professional presence
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and other related software programs (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Comply with and suggest changes to Company SOP’s
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of experience as an office administrative professional, office manager or equivalent customer service experience

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, or similar discipline, a plus.
  • Experience in a lean and/or six sigma environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete diverse clerical and administrative tasks across office functions.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to operations, sales, and management team members.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, the Company’s Security Policy, and related work instructions for employees and visitors.
  • Maintain an organized filing system of electronic documents
  • Other duties as assigned.
