About The Position

American Pest is seeking an experienced Office Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the judgment and common sense to keep an office running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, dependable, and enjoys helping others while creating an organized, welcoming workplace. This role plays a key part in supporting employees, welcoming guests, coordinating company activities, and ensuring the office operates efficiently. Every day brings something a little different, and the Office Administrator will be responsible for solving problems, taking initiative, and managing details.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of administrative/office experience
  • Experience using MS Windows/Office and cloud-based software
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, familiar and comfortable with pivot tables
  • The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to think quickly and clearly
  • The ability to effectively manage your time and prioritize multiple tasks
  • The willingness to take initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail or organization with a desire to get things right
  • Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to be a positive, up-beat, team-player
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
