About The Position

DLR Group's Cleveland office has an opening for an Office Administrator. As an Office Administrator/Front Desk Receptionist, you are our director of first impressions and the main contact for our visitors and vendors. You are responsible for providing a welcoming environment to all visitors, vendors, clients, and consultants. Additionally, you will assist with meeting coordination and presentation setup/breakdown; perform miscellaneous administrative tasks; maintain overall office organization; assist with employee onboarding; and contribute to project-based support as time permits. Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in relevant client-facing customer service role (i.e. administrative assistant or receptionist)
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge and use of Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam
  • Knowledge of general business procedures and use of office equipment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proactive, independent thinker with ability to prioritize work
  • High attention to detail and high organizational skills

  • Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors, vendors, and employees as the face of the office
  • Answer incoming general office calls
  • Coordinate conference rooms, events, meetings, and culture events
  • Manage inventory of office and kitchenette supplies
  • Assist with travel reservations, manage office calendars, and distribute mail
  • Manage coordination with vendors
  • Distribute relevant information to staff regarding local activities and events
  • Coordinate overall office organization and cleanliness
  • Assist with onboarding new employees
  • Coordinate regular office maintenance and building services
