About The Position

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is the leader in performing a wide range of services, including the design, fabrication and installation of quality commercial/industrial heating and air conditioning, stainless and sheet metal fabrication, and plumbing work plus complete ongoing maintenance services throughout Tennessee, Virginia, and the Carolinas. We are seeking a highly motivated Office Administrator to join the team in our Blountville, TN office. The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized, productive team player with the ability to work well with others. The candidate must also possess oral and written communication skills and basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Associates degree or 2+ years of office experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of math and basic accounting principles.
• Organization and time management skills.
• Microsoft Office experience; Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude.
• Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests who visit the office.
• Field inbound calls and assists callers or route to the correct person.
• Manage office supplies and maintain required quantities.
• Handle all incoming and outgoing mail including FedEx and UPS.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with daily deposit listing and monthly statement distribution.
• Assign purchase orders for the Construction Department with job costing information.
• Assist Accounts Payable by investigating and verifying purchases lacking proper identification.
• Organize office events and meetings.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
