About The Position

Sandvik Mining is looking for an Office Administrator in Denver, CO. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office in Downtown Denver. The position is designed as a launch point for early-career professionals seeking exposure to the mining industry and corporate business operations. As part of this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across office management, event coordination, and document management while working closely with teams across the organization. You’ll also be introduced to how AI-enabled tools and modern systems support operational efficiency in a mining-focused business environment. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate who is curious, organized, and eager to learn how different parts of a mining business operate; from operations and safety to finance, engineering, and leadership support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2 years experience in a professional setting with administrative responsibilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
  • Demonstrated proficiency with organization, and with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day office operations, ensuring workflows run smoothly
  • Coordinate office supplies, vendors, and basic facilities needs
  • Assist with planning and execution of internal meetings, trainings, and company events
  • Support logistics such as scheduling, invitations, materials, and follow-up
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support site visits and business meetings
  • Organize, maintain, and update digital document repositories and shared drives
  • Ensure documents are properly labeled, version-controlled, and accessible
  • Support the documentation and standardization of administrative and business processes
  • Use AI-powered tools for document organization, research, scheduling, and content drafting
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline or automate administrative tasks
  • Learn and support new systems and tools as they are adopted across the business
