Join our dynamic team as the Office Administrator for the San Francisco office. Reporting to the Senior Director of Workplace Operations, you will manage the full life cycle of the direct support team, ensuring that each member has the skills needed to successfully support the attorneys and clients on their team, provide each team member with opportunities to learn and develop and progress in their careers, and promote the team concept to ensure well-trained coverage is always available. In addition, you will work with the firm’s outsourced vendor to oversee office services and facilities, and lead key initiatives for both the firm and office. You will collaborate with a talented management team - including Administrators from other offices and chiefs from various administrative departments - and engage daily with lawyers and professionals in a stimulating, rewarding environment. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a law firm or other professional services environment are required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, client service, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in facilities management, budget planning and control, project management, as well as personnel management and development.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and executing systems, processes, policies, and procedures for all aspects of office operations.
  • Creating and monitoring the office’s budget.
  • Overseeing space utilization, facilities management, and construction projects.
  • Coordinating and supervising office event planning and execution.
  • Managing community engagement activities, including charitable giving campaigns and community service initiatives.
  • Supporting the Office Managing Partner on office initiatives.
