About The Position

Great Oaks Academy, located in Warren, MI, is seeking an Office Administrator to join their team. This role is crucial in maintaining the school's administrative functions and ensuring a supportive environment for students, parents, and visitors. The Office Administrator will be responsible for bookkeeping, managing the visitor system, and providing administrative support to school leadership.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and/or 2-4 years’ experience in an office or school-related administrative position.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update bookkeeping at the school and oversee the accounting process.
  • Maintain receptionist responsibilities and support an office environment that is supportive to visitors, parents, and students.
  • Ensure that security procedures are strictly followed by overseeing the visitor management system.
  • Complete correspondence, memoranda, and reports for the school principal, as well as maintain the calendar and appointments for school leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.
