Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration or a related field, or one to three years of experience in a similar administrative or operations support role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with moderate to strong skills in Word and Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a shop and office environment.
  • Ability to organize and maintain large volumes of data and documentation.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with inventory, asset, or ERP systems (e.g., Texada) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing purchase orders.
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing activities.
  • Perform general office administrative duties as assigned.
  • Assist with the setup and system entry of new assets, acquired assets, bulk assets, sales and equipment parts.
  • Review inventory and asset request forms to confirm required information, manuals, and photos are provided.
  • Maintain asset and inventory records in spreadsheets, Texada, and shared drives; communicate new asset and part numbers as required.
  • Update and verify pricing, bin locations, inventory transfers, adjustments, and checkout documentation.
  • Maintain and update asset and inventory photos, folders, and naming conventions on the shared drive.
  • Perform data cleanup activities related to assets, inventory, bulk items, pricing, and inactive part numbers.
  • Assist with work order creation, updates, and closure as directed.
  • Maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database, ensuring all records are current, complete, and properly stored.
