About The Position

Village Behavioral Health (VBH) is a licensed behavioral health organization providing residential facilities and crisis services. Our mission is rooted in the belief that "it takes a village" to foster healing, stability, and recovery. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centered, trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises throughout Virginia. We are seeking a highly organized & detail-driven Office Administrator/HR Support to facilitate office operations and provide day-to-day support to our Human Resources department. The Office Administrator works on-site Monday-Friday during general office hours. Hourly Pay: $23-$27 per hour (DOE)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or higher education
  • 5+ years of experience in fast-paced office administration, HR support, or similar environment
  • 2+ years of experience supporting AP operations
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office 365 (Word & Excel) and computer functions
  • Effective written & verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation
  • Ability to manage government regulated affairs with tight deadlines and confidentiality
  • Highly detailed and organized with the ability to work independently
  • Familiarity of HRIS platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Healthcare Management or relevant field (experience acceptable in lieu of education)
  • Previous experience in behavioral health or human services industry
  • Experience supporting government regulated business functions
  • Familiar with modern AI tools

Responsibilities

  • Serve as initial point of contact to VBH's visitors, vendors, and local behavioral health professionals.
  • Manage general office operations, including but not limited to: shared inboxes, scheduling, calendar management, and inventory/supply management.
  • Process incoming/outgoing time-sensitive mail and licensing documents.
  • Facilitate AP functions, including but not limited to: processing invoices for payment upon approval from COO, vendor relations, AP reconciliation, records management, and budget management.
  • Partner with Logistics Manager for facilitate maintenance and inventory requests.
  • Support daily HR functions including customer service, personnel file management, coordination of licensing & training schedules, onboarding/offboarding, and ad hoc projects.
  • Provide administrative support to organization's leaders on departmental initiatives and special projects - including auditing & compliance.
  • Identify areas of opportunity in daily office processes and implement strategies to optimize a smooth-running office environment.
