Requirements

  • Experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, administrative support, or office coordination
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills (this is important for success in this role)
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day
  • Professional communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Attention to detail with financial and clerical tasks
  • Reliable, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help where needed

  • Potential to grow into additional responsibilities, including pricing support, EDI systems, and cross-department process improvements, for candidates with strong Excel and technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls, supporting both customers and internal staff
  • Handle accounts receivable tasks, including calling customers on past-due balances and updating account records
  • Assist with bookkeeping and daily financial tasks, including deposits and banking coordination
  • Process credit applications and communicate with banks and financial institutions
  • Provide administrative support to the office and sales team, including scheduling and tracking team activity
  • Maintain accurate records and organized office systems
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Word for tracking, reporting, and daily tasks
  • Support general office operations and step in where needed to keep things running efficiently
