About The Position

The Office Assistant is responsible for clerical work, record and statistic keeping, filing Medicare, Medicaid, insurance and private duty claims for all home health, hospice and private duty patients, maintenance of records of claims and computer entry of dates filed.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One (1) year typing and record keeping experience required with demonstrated proficiency in both areas
  • Computer experience required
  • Experience with insurance billing is required

  • Additional office training preferred
