About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, keeping machinery running, preventative maintenance, all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Must identify all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals.

Requirements

3 months mechanical experience or enrolled or completed an automotive/mechanical degree or training.
Ability to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.
Ability to lift, reach, rotate, walk, climb, bend, and squat throughout the shift.
Ability to work in a cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy environment.
Must provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history.
Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
No rehire for former Tyson Team Members that were termed for gross misconduct.
Not eligible for rehire if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
