About The Position
Central Stone Company has a full-time, position available for an Off-Road Truck Driver at our Florissant, MO location. The Off-Road Truck Driver is responsible for moving rock throughout the quarry using a quarry truck. Position also performs routine maintenance such as lubing, fueling and quarry truck cleaning. This is a Teamster position with Local 682.
Requirements
- Safety-Focused
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform job functions in all weather conditions
- Self-motivated with a solid work ethic
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
- Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficiently
- Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
- Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
