About The Position

Caldwell Stone, an open-pit limestone mine/quarry located in Danville, KY, is seeking an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver. The successful candidate will have experience operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks and a strong focus on safety. This is a full-time position with wages starting at $20 per hour, paid weekly, with potential for higher pay based on experience.

Requirements

• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed when not operating equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and safely climb up and down ladders or stairs to access equipment throughout the workday.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating both articulated and rigid frame haul trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stockpile trucks, stockpiling material into proper piles and/or operate articulated haul trucks to load shot rock out of the quarry and to the crusher.
• Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
